You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

More Questions for Rafa

Rafa, I saw tennis pro clip where you were playing Playstation with your friends and you and David Ferrer were in your underwear. Did you lose a bet?
Cedrine

We were playing not in underwear. I think it was with shorts but no shirt. I can't remember if I lost that time. David is a very good player.

If you could have two wishes to come true for this year - one wish on the tennis court and one wish off the court - what two wishes would you make?
Niamh Kearney
Ireland

Off court is that all wars stop. And on court to be well and ready to win titles.

Rafa, please be honest. How do you really feel knowing that millions of girls and women find you extremely sexy and even look for men that look like you? People like Safin and Robredo accept they're sexy, why can't you?
Cedrine, UK

I don't think I am like that. I do know I have more followers and fans now than five years ago. I suppose it helps the fact that I am seen a lot on TV.

Rafa, Whats your favourite flavour of ice cream?
Mandy

Cookies and cream. Too good.

Rafa, are you friends with any Australian players??
M Williams

Rafa''s reply: Yes, I get along well with Lleyton. He has always been very nice with me although he beat me too easily at golf last year.

Hi Rafa,
I'd like to know if you get time to read books despite having such tight schedules. If yes, then which is your favourite book, and what do you like reading in general?
Love, Mohona

Thanks. I read The Boy with the Striped Pajamas (I don't know the English name of it).

What is the strangest thing that has happened during one of your matches?
Beth, Kentucky, USA

That I could not really see well. I mean not that I was blind, but I was like lost. It was in Brazil back in 2005.

Do you ever visit your unofficial fansites, or go onto forums to read what your fans and other people are saying about you?
Ella

RN: Not much to be honest with you. I look at my website to see everything is Ok and I spent a lot of time when I am with my laptop at the messenger.

Would you like to have a go at umpiring a match, and if so in which tournament and what 2 players would be playing the match?
Sharon

RN: No, not really. I prefer to play it is way more fun.

How many chin-ups can you do?
Lauren, Canada

RN: Sorry but I don't know what it is.

I noticed that your father has attended your matches this week. Do you feel more pressure to do well when he is there?
Elise VB

RN: Yes, he's taken some holidays and came here with us. He is having fun. I have no extra pressure, on the contrary I enjoy his presence.

All of the boys in my class at school laugh at me because my tennis coach is a woman. Do you think boys should always have a male tennis coach?
Ryan in Ireland, aged 9

RN: No, I think the kids must have coaches but who cares if it is man or woman? As long as he or she is good it doesn't matter the rest.

Marksies!

English - 7 (20/25 for Paper 1, 23/25 for Paper 2)
STUPID PARTS OF THE HOUSE. LOVELY WIFE AND HUSBAND RELATIONSHIPS.

Psychology - 78% (Went down 10% from last year grrr). But 7.

Chemistry - 92%; 7 (although I keep finding mistakes in his marking...)

Bio - 96%; 7 (This one was the biggest surprise)

Math - 90 something (not sure. He said I lost 3 marks over the whole paper but he did some freaky 20% thing where he estimated us to do 20% worse than we did blabla, but anyway); 7

French - 92%; 7
(Informal form of 'you' MUST NOT BE USED IN NOTES TO TEACHERS!)

Overall, quite pleased.

And lovely Nadal is playing now GO WATCH PEOPLE!!!!
AND THE COLOUR OF HIS SHIRT IS A BIT DIFFERENT SO HE LOOKS OKAY.
BUT STILL NO ARMS.

Sanctuary

i memorised the paths
that i drew across your face
with my fingertips, the purity
of the space between the
corner of your eye and
your temple.
your breath is my music in
the morning when i wake,
and my lullaby in the silent
solitude of the night.
under the pillow i can feel
your fingers curled like a
baby's fist; i know each
callus like the back of my own palm.
perhaps it is not too much
to ask you to love me,
after all.

The Poem I Wrote During Biology

a hole in his side;
crimson patch that
stood out
glaringly against his
marbled skin.

limbs tangled lie
a twisted spider;
pathetic like
a gunned-down-dog.

perhaps the crushed glass
that coated his head in
a crown of perpetual ice,
would encase forever
the gleams of crystallised
sanity that slept within.

A Good Question

Where do you run to escape from yourself?

First Marks

Sufficient.
I am content for the time being.

Thursday, January 15, 2009

Oh by the way Happy Birthday mum even though you don't know this blog exists and will never even see it.

I love you A LOT even though I am rude and ungrateful. *hug*

It's Over

Okay. Mocks are finally over. I can finally breathe. Constriction of bronchioles/mind/willpower may be relaxed (slightly). Since the Australian Open is starting next week, much of my time will be devoted to cheering on Nadal. Something must be stated here however of the horrendous desecration that Nike has committed against Nadal's arms by deeming to cover them with this horrendously coloured shirt that is by no means even remotely attractive.

When I found out, I was mortified. I hope they don't make him wear this for the whole year. Anyway why he is so stupid to even agree wearing it? Honestly. The colours are horrible together. It's blasphemy.

Anyway on another less materialistic note: I can start going to the gym again (I think). Well for a while at least. Since pre-exam stress was keeping me from doing anything but burying my bloody nose in a book during toilet time, eating time, sleeping time, and bathing time. So yes.

And I will see whether my marks are fit to be posted before I mention anything (keeping fingers crossed).

My neck is itchy and it is extremely hot. I hate this sort of weather. The wind just blows in your damn face and I literally can't move when I run because I'm going against the wind. And stupid boys on motorbikes follow me and it's annoying. And I feel disgustingly unfit. Have only been doing 6 km runs which is quite pathetic. P.A.T.H.E.T.I.C.

Have also had no time to write poems no prose. Except for the one I wrote on the back of the Bio exam paper just now. I hope Mrs. Walton doesn't get too worried as it went something like this:

a hole in his side
patch of crimson against
marbled skin,
limbs twisted like
a tangled spider;
pathetic like
a gunned-down-dog

something something

That's not the exact version, I'll post it up when I get my paper back. (Fingers double crossed).

Okay, azan has just sounded for Asar and in any case I want to get back to 1984. (Thanks N)

Cheerio till tonight.

Hello

I think so far exams are ok
Apparently I got 98 for Math Paper 1
Although I will do much worse in paper 2 as I always tend to disappoint myself

Chem was quite nice
I surprised myself and on the spur of the moment decided to do kinetics and energetics even though I am an advocate of the beauty of organic chemistry

English.. Ok I screwed up because I didn't mention the bloody PARTS OF THE HOUSE although I wrote 7 pages about THE HOUSE (and its inhabitants)

And we had exactly the same question for Psychology as we did last year (biological explanation of a psychological question, so I did aggression)

Today had French
I wrote a note to my French teacher about not doing my work
Which is quite ironic
And also a lengthy essay about "How to prepare yourself for the IB"
HAR. HAR. I should have just said "Don't bloody take the IB. It is self-destructive."
But Paper 1 was a little tricky because all the damn answers were so close together
And I didn't know Zinedane Zidane is Algerian

Anyway
Today is so hot and my lips are cracking :(

Stupid ( )

Meet Peter

This is Peter.
I went to Gurney Plaza this morning and stumbled into Lovely Lace despite it's laciness.
And all the bears were bloody happy bears and they just pissed me off because I was/am sad.
So I was walking out when my mum saw this one.
And she said "Isn't this a sad little fellow."
And so I had to buy him because he was the only sad bear in the whole damn prissy shop.
So I bought him.
And I have decided to name him Peter.
And we shall be sad together.
